So - to confirm - the set up is Archipelago. Correct? Continents with a high water level (ie snaky continents) is a whole different set up.

In Arch, ecah civ will be on its own landmass. In Snaky Continents - civs may very well be connected by land.

So - which is it? Just wanting to be clear before a civ and leader is chosen. Thanks.

Southern Cross is under the impression that this is what we are having as a map.

All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Actually planet generator is going to be used, that is what most teams wanted, but large with medium sea level and 11 teams I don't think it will be much fun

As posted in the other thread - can we confirm what the map is. Thx!

Archaepelago (ie each civ on a large island by itself)

                OR

Snaky continents, being continents with high sea level (ie civs will be on the same continents - ie more than one continent.)

????? Sorry - I don't understand this. What is planet generator, and why would it not be much fun?

So my understanding is, and I could be completely wrong here - it has been known to happen.....

But - we are playing on the "Snaky Continents" map, which is generated by Planet Generator - under the subset of Archipeligo.........

But as stated above, I could be wrong......

Planet Generator is a tool (map script) that generates maps with more options to customize the resulting map.

I had the feeling that 11 teams in a large map and lot of sea wouldn't be much fun but now that I tested it it's not that bad.

Thanks for the explanation on Planet Generator.

I responded to the map options in the setup thread above.
