I also vote for Curassiers out of CT, for reasons listed by Sulla. (5xp Curassiers are very good for both defense and offense, while Cats can be trained anywhere. Even in cities without barracks.)

Since the vote was 3:1, I made the swap in Cape Town when I logged in to take pictures. And because we all know it was the right decision to make anyway.

Naldo has logged in and eliminated the Templars, keeping Acre

Can anyone log in soon to see what else he gets up to?

Decided to move this from the backstab thread:

Not true. The tile its on is roaded so it could move to the cows this turn and walk into an empty Jerusalem the next. I don't think they know Jerusalem is empty but still I would like the musket in Sweet Tooth to move towards Jerusalem so it can defend if needed. Maybe even put a turn into a longbow so we can whip if needed (painful, but less so that a razed Jersulaem, our Oromo behind 20% culture will have >50% odds if their musket attacks but hardly a sure thing.)

Also our turn isn't over - GA not drafted and various Oromos not on the front lines haven't been moved. We still have 16hrs and I'm sure Sullla/sunrise are just taking a break after Backstab, but wanted to make sure that doesn't get lost in all the celebration

Well yeah, except we have another Oromo moving up from Sweet Tooth to cover Jerusalem.

I'll save more comments for when sunrise posts the full turn report sometime tomorrow. Also need to get a screenshot of the eastern continent, where Banana razed the PAL city of Giza - yes!!!

We are lacking in screenshots, so here are a few:

Acre might be worth taking now that Giza is gone

Also notice that with our capture of two Imperio cities and with the razing of Giza, we have once again passed PAL in score!

I didn't answer the question and said that that scenario is very unlikely. He then says "It's the only chance I've got" and I broke down crying. Well, I would have done if God had fitted me with an organic heart instead of this stone one.
I think this is the quote of the game for me.

Another MM note: we should direct all EPT spending towards Imperio and start training a couple spies if we want to steal any techs from them. Do they have anything worth stealing?

Our epts against them are rather poor, as they run the slider against us for a long while. We would take an awful lot of time to compensate for that.

                            This is what got razed:
                            Giza (size 9) = 8 shields (-40)
Infrastructure: Granary, Lighthouse, Forge, Library, University, Confucian Monastery, Confucian Temple

That's about 10% of their empire

Banana have really tweaked PAL's nose at Giza:

Attached is the situation on the eastern continent. While I'm overjoyed at Giza's razing, it's a bit of a shame that Donovan took this city instead of Pi-Ramesses. Nevertheless, it means that Omni Point can't be double-moved, and the situation there is vastly improved. Foster, however, is still a sitting duck, and if it falls, then Omni Point is isolated.

The more PAL cities that Banana burns down, the better!

So is there any merit to considering Banana'a offering of Galleons to ferry some units across to help defend Omni?
