Effective this turn? Does that mean we can go until 24hrs on the civstat clock? Someone should inform Templars.

      • Yes, and I've already done so.

        • Yes, the OBs are recalculated every turn changeover, so we won't see them until next turn.

So I'd say revolt to just nationalism. EDIT: or if it's just 3 turns to gunpowder then maybe not ...

BTW I was thinking we should up the science slider. It makes sense to run out of cash on the turn our bank in A1 is finished and have to go back to 0% again.

Drat, I was going to suggest that we should keep to our 16hr slot and see if Templars even noticed that we were no longer at war with Imperio....

            • I logged in and asked Imperio for Gunpowder. We'll see what they make of that in due course

              • That's two requests . I'll go and draft an email and put it in the Imperio thread.

                  • Right, I believe their is now no need to change civics before playing the turn. So I'd go ahead and play it sunrise.

If by some miracle imperio gives us gunpowder before the 24 hrs, we can revolt, draft and then move the new troops. But if not then it's no biggie.

I'd save the whip of Mellow Yellow until the end of the turn, since if we get gunpowder then we'd want to draft first. But Jericho can be whipped.

                    • IIRC, MY is only at 6/100 on a settler, so we can't whip till next turn.

I think this is a mistake as Imperio will be declaring on Templar any turn now.
                        Spoiler:
yeah - right - will believe that when I see it

                        • MY has a forge, so each whip is 37.5 hammers and it can be whipped.

EDIT: @Ruff: They agreed to declare once we capture Jerusalem. Which won't be for quite a while!

                          • Imperio have moved their galley from CI towards us. I suppose they plan to scout our coastline. Not a lot we can do about that.

                            • We need to get a scouting chariot to confirm the new Imperio city I penciled in between CI and Uxmal.

Should we move our Trireme to follow it, or plan to get another out of Saxon of China Beach?
