The second sentence specifically states that after logging in and then leaving, your turn is finished as far as Imperio are concerned and they can move; you turn is not over for you though until you hit enter.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

In light of the above ruling by Krill, we need to do the following:

    1. Do not log in to have a 'look around' until the turnplayer has completed our military moves

    2. We don't have to end our turn after moving our armies, but the enemy/enemies will then be free to move their units against us once the turnplayer has logged out.

    3. We should end our turn (i.e. move all units - including non-combat ones) within 24hrs in order to preserve turn order.

    4. We can change builds at any time, including after we've ended our turn.

    Changes to Play

If we're first to play the turn (as looks likely), the key for us will be to have a turnplayer on deck during the first 24hrs of every turn.

The second important change is that we'll have to plan our actions one turn ahead: once we've moved our armies, then the team can log in and look around, and make suggestions based on what's gone on (if the enemy has moved). If the enemy hasn't moved, we can make some 'what if' plans.

The major problem for us will be if the enemy delays its moves to the last hour(s) of the turn. In this case, we'll need people who can lurk civstats ( http://www.civstats.com/viewgame.php?gameid=944 ) and log into the game before the turn ticks over to grab screenshots. It'll also be very useful to have Banana continue his favour to us by not ending his turn while we're at war (so that the enemy can't make the turn tick over by ending their turn).

In the extreme case, the 'civstats lurker' will have to try to switch builds (e.g. if our copper/horses are pillaged) before the turn expires.

Can people please change their username/login name so we can see who logged in when?
        I changed to TRBmh recently.

I always log in as RealmsBeyond-keek.

But now I am probably not going to log in - any minor benefits I could contribute by logging in would be more than offset by the chances of me messing something upa nd logging in at the wrong time :-)

I'm surprised you suggested this Mr C&D. I would have thought that you would draw up a list something like this ...

            TRB-Dept A ... Sullla
            TRB-Dept B ... C&D (m-h)
            TRB-Dept C ... WAR! (Sunrise)
            TRB-Dept D ... micro (T-Hawk)
            TRB-Dept E ... color consultant (ruff)
            etc
Quote: "All Happiness is the release of internal pressure"
Visit my Civ IV web site for information on mods that I am involved with or use and other Civ IV tools
woo hoo! My wife publishes her first book. Buy it now in paperback format at lulu and help me retire so I can write more BUG mod code.

              Errr, why?

I was changing my log in handle to TRBmh after the Templar/Religion spread discussion iirc.

Thinking this through I have the following theory:
From my performance in the Epics & Adventures it is clear I have next to no clue. Looking at civstat other teams can see me being logged in quite a lot and for long periods of time, therefore thinking I have actually a leading role in this team.
That's why Imperio is so confident they can beat us.

Do we have to include TeamRB or similar in our login name? Does "sunrise089" work?

I logged in with the name "I'm having Pizza tonight" since, well, I'm having Pizza tonight. It did not register the log-in on civstats. Could be the length or apostophe that stops it noting the log-in. Just a FYI.
