The game has started!

The game has finally started.

We are Ethiopia (Cre/Org), starting with Mining and Hunting.

Other civs are:
Maya - Locutus? (Exp/Fin)
China - Locutus? (Ind/Pro)
Egypt - Ramses (Spi/Ind)
HRE - Rabbits (Prot/Imp)
Babylon - Hammurabi (Agg/Org)

Only we and Rabbits have our Civs exposed in the list.

When PAL logged in, I saw that they are Egypt.

Game settings are:
Choose Religion
No Tech Brokering
Simultaneous Turns
Take over AI
Turn Timer
Game Turn Limit: 500

@Ruff: I think Zevis made a typo. If we are indeed Ethiopia, then surely we are not Agg/Org but rather Cre/Org.

The game is going to be restarted tonight because one member clicked the wrong civ when logging in. Then clicked next. Then exited the game, reloaded and clicked a different wrong civ. Then next.

I just read the 'game has started' threat - what a complete mix up! Anyway, I think (think, as in 'not sure') I have an answer to my question ... how to load a pitboss game ...

Start Civ4
Select Multi-Player
[s]Select PitBoss[/s] - not an option, skip it
Select IP connection
Enter the IP address (snoopy369.dyndns.org:2063 for this game)
Select your Leader (Zara)
Enter the password when required (VariantScum)

Note: Exit via 'exit to menu' and not 'exit to desktop' as the second method doesn't release the connection and chews the hosts bandwidth (apparently).

I'm going to try this out when I get home to see if I have it right.

Edit: just tried it - ip connection timed out. I'm assuming because snoop took the game down.

I did this this morning and haven't been able to correct it yet. Hope things are OK with our host.
