OK, there is no way we can compete militarily against PAL at the moment because they are too far advanced. We need to build.

Next 2 things to build are 2 settles. One goes South of Caerbannog to work the whales. One goes east of Aachen along the coast. Then it is building Rathauses and Libraries, etc.

Currency for 150 gold isn't a bad deal at all as it givs us an extra trade route per city. I suggest a counteroffer of 50 gold plus 5 gold per turn for 10 turns.

It's a good trade if we have access to oversea trade routes. We have no open borders deal with PAL, so I assume they're blocking every trade route westward once Eisenburgs cultural expansion blocks the coast.
