I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

so 2 things defend it and send our diplomats to realms beyond see if we can get an unofficial alliance where we defer victory to them !

i would do the diplo stuff had i any previous input in this game with them, i feel it best one of you who has been here since the beginning deal with them.

an alliance whereby we recieved instant help now for our loyalty throughout the rest of the game would make the difference needed to slap Pal down ! this was not even a distant dream a few turns back when we expected certain death !

Team captains step up and forge us an alliance that will see our enemies crushed !

Should we settle on the iron or beside it? If we settle on it we will not be able to mine it but will able to use it as soon as we settle.
Should we split the defense forces between the new city and Diggers Burrow?

          Settle on the iron!!

If we are going to have to defend to the last then that is the most secure way. Sure we lose some hammers, but at least its an all or nothing loss and we don't have to have more troops defending a mine too.

Split defence, but lets keep churning out units in the meantime
