  • The big update!!!

After several turns of silence, you got it all in one.

    Here's turn 106, 225 BC.

Caerbannog was one turn away from finishing the settler. IIRC I changed a citizen from a mine to the lake because it didn't change the production time but did give us extra commerce and thus beakers for our already slow research.
Diggers Burrow was on a Axeman to do a little conquest up north.
Robin had finished scouting the first barb town and was on its way to the second Barb city while the workers are in position to build a road up north.
Banana agreed to a Polytheism for Meditation trade, but hasn't followed up on our offer to give info on their garrisons.
And our pillaging stack keeps itself occupied with destroying roads. I know, not much glory there but the Heliopolis garrison became too strong.

    Turn 107 - 200 BC

Caerbannog had started on a Archer.
Diggers Burrow is about to finish the Axeman.
The third screenshot shows the garrison of Heliopolis. As you can notice, their first catapult showed up. PAL had traded the necessary tech with Imperio as far as I could determine. In the last screenshot you can see that I put part of our troops on guard detail on the forest hill while the remainder goes west to destroy some more roads.

      Turn 108 - 175 BC

      And the second last turn.

Caerbannog on the Archer and Diggers Burrow has started on a Granary IIRC (don't worry about the archer production you see on the screenshot) And our settler is hiding under the spearman in the image.
Our latest Axeman is on its way to Phrygian while the workers are busy constructing a road towards it.
And Robin has found the Magyar tribe. Also only 2 warriors as defenders.
Btw, I made a mistake in my first distance remark. Those 2 tribes are 3 plots apart so we can keep them both.
And our gallant stack of destruction continued to harass some roads.

The current turn. Turn 109 - 150 BC

The city of Mountain Hutch has been founded, so we have yet again horsies. I started a wall their just in case PAL launches another assault backed with cata's...
I plan to retreat our army back in our borders to decrease our expenses so research can go up again.
Production is switched to a chariot in Caerbannog. I let Diggers Burrow continue on the Granary.
The conquest of the barbarian tribes goes as planned. Our workers, axeman and archer will assemble on the same spot when the assault of Phrygian begins.
PAL desperately wants it cows back... or else they will build a road again to our hilly forest...

I'm a wee bit on the lost side, but it's looking fairly good, considering.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
