To business: we notice you have both iron and copper. Could you spare us your iron? We'll trade any two of our excess resources for it. Off the top of my head, those include dyes, silks, cows, clams, marble.

Also we offered literature for your 50 gold in-game. Good for those Epics if you collect marble from us in the above deal.

I say yes to the tech. Iron for a finite term would be good. I suggest we trade iron for more technology. Marble is something we can access ourselves eventually.

I cannot see why we should give away our biggest advantage (the Iron).

can you please confirm that you received our multiple messages? We are wondering whether your silence is due to some technical issues or if it is intentional. We grow slightly irritated about your lack of response to our messages and in-game trade offers, especially after you accepted the Dyes gift without a comment. Some team members would also like you to remember the gift of Archery early on, that saved your civ from early defeat.
We think you are doing an admirable job in holding out against PAL. We would like to assist you in your struggle. But that means we have to find some means of communications.
Please respond to this in a timely manner. There are interesting developments on the international stage and you should play a role in it.

Messages are being received and I apologise for the lack of response. For my own part I have had very little time to devote to Civ in general at the moment. RL issues are piling up and leave very little energy and enthusiasm by the time I get home from work.
We thank you for your gifts and your continued correspondance, I hope we can be more reciprocal in the future.
