  • Turn 84 - 775 BC

    Things are happening again.

Warhammer spotted what will turn out to be an Imperion fishing port on the other side of the strait. See the Imperio contact thread for some more details.

Unfortunately PaL can already know we met them. Their Biti warrior must have spotted our Warhammer.

    Infoscreen...

The econotechnic situation of our little fief.
Not good as you can see.

      New City...

... is founded. For now it's named Aachen. Other names are welcome.

I founded it on the "1" spot Fed seemed to like most.

I started a wall there because it will be in the middle of a frontline.
Also, as UnO requested, I'm assembling our axes there. 2 are already in the area, a third is on its way.

        Valley Hutch...

... is building along merrily. Its borders expanded (aren't you grateful for the Monument now, UnO? ), and two workers have started a pasture on the horse resource which now is in our territory. Two more turns, and the requested chariots can be started.

          Diggers Burrow...

... is working on its last axe for the time being. After that the wheels need to churn out beastie-pulled suspended wagons...
The spearman is on its way to Caerbannog, and the axe will next turn probably in range to attack the barb warrior you can see on the bottom right of the screen.

            Caerbannog...

... is slowly becoming a Wise Bunnie paradise.
2 turns before the woods are chopped, so I estimate 3 turns before the Library is done. After that, the city can start a worker or perhaps also a chariot. Preferences?

O yes, next turn I have a civic switch to Slavery planned, again as on UnO's request. So the production times you see on the screens will be a turn later...

With the discovery of Imperio I have also tinkered with our espionage output. 3 points to Imperio, 1 point to PAL, and none to Banana.

A little more info, please. Why not? What else to do with the three (3!) faces we'll have?

So is the protocol in a democracy game to declare war publically first or just attack?
Yes, negotiations could take some time.

Whatever protocol we choose, Chuckman. Of course, if the majority votes to be polite about it, we sent them a message the turn before after they played.

I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
