How many turns for a Settler?I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. The turns needed to build settler,with 2 pops, are:
5H+50%+3F surplus:100H (cost of the settler)= 10 turns
Of course we must wait 2 turns for city to grow to pop 2, so 12 turns
total.
The reason I proposed begin with warrior was to have it to go with
the settler to the new site (where ever it will be).
But now I think Zoid is right. The warrior,always at 2 pops, takes 3
turns to build. So,
Wait for new pop,then settler,then warrior, takes total 15 turns,
still on time, I think.
Thumper shall follow with the settler, new warrior shall guard capital.

If we're going for a settler --> other unit approach, keep in mind that hammers from queued production starts to decrease after 10 turns (if I'm correct). Therefore if the settler can be finished in 10 turns, I agree that we start one once population has reached 2. But after the settler is done we should use at least 1 turn to "maintain" barracks production before switching to the second warrior.Comment
