Internal Setup Poll #22 : Aggressive AI

THIS POLL CLOSES IN 2 DAYS FROM NOW!!!!

As we may, or may not, have vassal states, this poll will determine whether said states (AI's) are aggressive or not........

The options are :

Ticked - AI leaders favour war over diplomacy.
Unticked - AI leaders favour diplomacy over war.

Please remember that the map will be reviewed and tweaked by a human mapmaker before we get to play on it so all will be as fair and interesting as possible.......

I know this poll is a day early, but these are the last batch of polls, and I am eager to get this process over with........

I'll still open the public polls on the correct date though......

I've gone for :

Unticked - AI leaders favour diplomacy over war.

It would be a shame if the later arriving vassal states ballsed things up by being too full of testosterone.......

Aggressive AI on!

The Aggressive AI setting does not actually make the AI favour war per se.

It makes the AI tougher to deal with. It will not declare war willy nilly - but if it believes it will win and/or gain resources it will attack.

It will be harder to trade with, to get it to agree to a diplo victory, or to go to war with another Civ.

It will be extra greedy and self centered.

Agg AI is a harder setting over all - and late colonies should have Agg AI IMO.

Another way of putting it - Aggressive AI civs will pursue all aspects opf the game more aggressively - including developing their economy, tech lead, territory and any other factor which may help it to win the game.
