  • Theme v. Winning

This measure of the tone of the team should help us decide our preferences for civilization and leader. Is it all about the role playing or winning or something in between.

    The options roughly translate to
    Role playing only
Role playing more important but not exclusive
    Even importance
    Winning more important
    Winning only

    Banana option

All the world's a stage and we are merely players.

Yes, negotiations could take some time.

If we lean toward roleplaying being more important I think Charlemagne fits the bill. If winning is more important to the team we should reconsider Financial, Creative and Philosophical traits
Yes, negotiations could take some time.

I always play to learn and win (while I care nothing if I won or not).

And I always chat, post and read (is that English?) to be among friends.

While I enjoy a bit of a laugh as much as the next person - I still sort of play to win.

Let me clarify that - I would never cheat to win, never get actually upset if I lose - but I would not want to do something stupid ingame in order to remain in "character".
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

But also I will declare war on a massively stronger opponent - just to get things over with - if it comes to that.

Talking about character, I had this idea popping up in my head today about how all diplo contacts with other teams could refer to the "Great Caerbannog" or something. A sort of to be feared ultimate decision maker on all kind of policies within our team, but it doesn't have a RL analogue in our team. For instance we could in sensitive tradetalks refer to putting the latest proposal to the "Caerbannog" and let the response come from another diplomat because it was displeased or something and the former diplomat got "punished".

I like it. We could have a new Number 2 each week.

                      I am not a number, I'm a bunny!

I'd like to have a new number 2 more often than that...
