Well, when talking of games that last for years, it's hard to find fault, really.

I have gone through 1 change of employment since this game began, quite likely will be seeing another soon. (I can only hope)

It's not that hard to see a circumstance where folks find themselves unable to participate, for demogames should really be low on the priority list when it all boils down to it.

That's why FEWER TEAMS, SHORTER GAME, AND LARGER TEAM SIZES should be prioritized for any future games.

Yes, we had a sort of demand set out, that may influence our motivation for the game at large. If we do not get a reply from the ones we sent this mail too, I am afraid the interest in this game will die out again.

The proposal regarding pausing the game for that period is under discussion within our team.

My personal reaction is, that the timespan pause suggested, is too long. The 2nd or 3rd of January seems more reasonable to me.

Or perhaps 2 pauses, restarting the game 28th/29th December and pausing over the New Year?
