    Game Historian

    After that little bit of verbal sparring with Con I think I can offer to be the game historian, writing up the game and describing the events for each of the teams as the game progresses, for release after the end of the game. Of course, I wouldn't post in the private forums (except, preferably, in a dedicated topped thread where I can ask any relevent questions to the history), nor would I be involved as game admin (which I'm not offering to do).

    It's up really to each team to agree to it, there isn't much point in me doing it if one team don't want me to do it...

          don't you think the micromanagement of having to view every team's forum will ruin the game for you?

              Hardly. He is a HISTORIAN. He is not in this for his game enjoyment....but rather as an outside "spirit" if you will, having an all-knowing knowledge of all teams. He will post historical updates as they happen - BUT not any information that would be detrimental to any given civilization.

              His ONLY purpose is to write history as it unfolds - and to do this, he needs access to ALL forums.

              Quite frankly, it is a rather LARGE commitment...and I for one, am glad that we have a volunteer for such a demanding position.

              What says everyone else?!?


              (As a caveat: I do NOT speak for my team - although I think they would agree)

                    Eh, they let NBA players in. I don't think the "professional" ban applies anymore.
