Teams who are ready for their private forum need to PM Locutus with their team roster, team icon, and team email address.

Locutus will then open a private forum up for that team and make the team leader a 'mini mod' capable of allowing entry to the private forum etc.

Seven teams, PAL and Beta's team are definitely in too. And 1 or 2 other teams might still join (the Spanish guys for one thing).

7 teams for ~50 sign-ups is a bit much IMO (especially since ~30 of those are for RoC and RB ), we may want to consider if some pruning is needed, but as long as there's still people signing up on a daily basis we can see how far this goes first...

True, most Team DGs take 6 months to set up, even with Rob's attempts to speed things up I wasn't expecting us to start this game next week

I think it will be a mistake to have more than 6 or 7 teams. I thought we were't goin to make that same mistake as with the Warlords demo game?

I personally agree, but in the end it's up to the community to decide. I talked about this with Rob when I was approached to set up the private forums. He felt we should first encourage people to sign up, get some activity going in this forum (and the private forums) and get people invested in the game -- only if it turns out that we get too many small teams see if some pruning needs to be done. I agree that's a good approach.

As FeMme alludes to, I don't see the final patch coming out for at least another few weeks, so we have some time to work this stuff out (first Alex has to announce a date, then he has to postpone it, then postpone it again, etc ) Let's first get people signed up to teams...

However - back on topic - this is why RoC have closed the hutches at this stage - to allow the other teams to have some new and different team members.

Otherwise we may well re-open the hutches if people are being turned away from other teams.
