Advanced League Game 26 has closed for submissions. Please feel free to discuss your game in as much detail as you want. The more we talk, the more we can learn from each others successes and failures......

Computer problems and ill health seem to have disrupted the games this time. Let's hope things return to happier and healthier times for next game........

I forgot to post that I started, but I more or less played out the game.

Starting lands were a bit grim: settled for Horses as city 2, missed the stone and FPs to Alex (who had to die as a result), settled for Iron (I think) for city 3. Built a big stack and was helped by Monty and Alex going at it. Monty stole Athens from me by a Jag two move

Longer-term, I was planning to PA with Zara, so I bent research to enabling the DefPac. Got the PA and aimed for Space. Darius declared on me/us and got pwned as we had more cities to overcome his tech lead (Infantry v Rifles).

Sadly, Capac had been going cultural despite fairly constant warring, and I gave up as there was no way to stop him getting a CV before we got the Spaceship to Alpha Centauri. Very frustrating, but I'm not the first Space Cadet to be undone by the fact that time to Space was increased, and time to CV was arguably reduced (corps, Sistene tweak)
