Game 26 as Washington was a big game since it covered two continents. I knew it was going to be a long one, and spent 24 hours on this game over 3 days.

My first war was with Montezuma in 800BC., then Zara Yaquob next. To fund my wars I spread Christianity and built the Church of the Nativity. I built the Great Library to keep up the research pace, and still found my self falling behind from time to time. I built the Apostolic Palace to stave off someone else from using it against me, but couldn’t spread my religion over seas in time to ever consider winning by a vote.

I vassalized Monty first, then Zara Yaquob asked to be my vassal since we were the same religion and great mates. I see someone else one a "joint diplomatic victory" and that would be with Zara I bet as he was such a buddy! Then I attacked Alexander, Hathshepsut, Darius who all capitulated and were vassalized with my Knights and Catapults my most useful units.

I beelined for Rifling and with Cavalry put the hurt on Kubla Khan, Huyana Capac and Gilgamesh who all capitulated and that was a slow process since I had to move a huge force overseas. Anyway – thump they all went down and the game was over after Spain capitulated and I won by domination in 1864, which I thought was too late to be in the running for a good score. It was still a fun game although nothing super interesting to discuss… sorry.
