Good to see a handful of submissions in the advanced league this game. Congratulations to fed1943 on a resounding conquest victory, and happy birthday too!!!

I should have attacked my neighbours earlier
I'm too peace loving to get to early conquest/domination victories.

As a matter of fact: this was my first domination victory ever! (yeah me!)

I was out and just today noticed I have won. So, a delayed report
from what I remember.

The leader was Ind and Cha, so I decided to go for some Wonders
and expansion for war or peace (one very close rival said it should be
by war); starting place with high food and hammers, went 1N for 2H
from the site tile. Stone very close, built 2nd city to grab it and profit
from a lot of flood to cottages.
Capital with fast grow and good production,2nd city commercial.
GW to save hammers and concern from barbs. Horses close and iron
in radius.
War against the close rival, D.Joâo II with axes,swords,some spears
and chariots for protection and pillaging; eliminated, keep most of
cities (1 flood, 1 production, 1 Holy with shrine). Then I built another
city and later another one, for four true French cities total.
Lisbon's budhism was already spread and I increased that, and
decided to play a strong religious bet,i.e., state religion, all my cities
with the religion and monastery+temple, Uni.Sankore,Minaret and
Ap.Palace.
Since soon I had science leadership, while capital was the military
city.
Then war of conquest,one by one, but always stopping by capitulation as soon as possible. Goal was religious victory or
domination; but I became fast too powerful for the former. And when very close to domination,the last civ capitulated.
