    Well, I didn't finish the game due to technical reasons.

    But, until 600 AD the greatest problem was the barbs: lot of desert,
    so hard to find good sites and to clear the fog.

      i tried this one, but got vastly overtaken by the AI. the combination of leader and map was just too challenging for me at this level.
