Advanced League Game 16 has closed for submissions. Please feel free to discuss your game in as much detail as you want. The more we talk, the more we can learn from each others successes and failures......

Looks like civ burnout effected all our advanced players this month as we didn't receive one legal final save.......

I would have submitted but i got stuck in that spot where I know I can't win, and playing through to an inevitable defeat is just a waste of time. Unfortunately this happened for game 17 too.

I have some notes at home, but basically what happened is I careless with vassals. I had a pretty good start and conquered a lot of territory, basically wiping out my two nearest neighbors; however, although they refused to capitulate to me, they both gladly capitulated to Mehmed (i think it was). His empire was already way bigger than mine, but with the addition of everyone else on the continent as his vassal, there was no way I was going to come back. So I had to retire.
