All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die. -

The game went pretty well actually, the dam Dutch beat me by about 5 turns.
It was the end of the game, I was just hitting "enter" a lot and not paying attention.

I believe I founded all the religions in this one, I may have missed one or two, the financial benefit from that kept me from Free Religion at the end of the game. The research and cash was better as a religious fanatic.
The Dutch must have had some better production (hammer) land then I did. This map had no real mega hammer spots except a couple of cities.
Makes you appreciate the power of religion. And also makes you appreciate the overall score isn't everything in game, the Dutch were like third or fourth when they launched the ship.

You have to watch out for the Dutch. They don't need good land for hammers. They just build dikes. Moai statue equivalent in every coastal city. They be NASTY for production in the end-game!Comment
