I forgot to mention, please, if you have completed a summary, post it in the thread AND in the "Summaries of/about..." so people can see what you have and if they wish to argue about how their idea was presented.

Seriously, thanks go to Theben who took the initiative to outline the entire picture for us. PLEASE look at the summary and jump on the needed threads. If people note their interest in doing a summary, I'll hold off on sending the list. Considering this might well be our last list, the more summaries the bettter.
Thanks again, Theben...

Above list modified after don Don's summary of MOVEMENT, SUPPLY, ETC. Check it out!
yin,
No sweat. Sure is easier than being a Threadmaster.

DELAYS! Unfourtanly, due to events beyond my control, i didn't manage to finish the space thread at due time. I intended to finish it this saturday, but I can see now that I won't.
I hope to have it done by Monday, the fourth. Hope that will be satisfactory.

I don't plan to send this list for at least another week, since work is still being done and since I hope others might help out. So try to recruit some people or jump on some of those remaining threads. It would be great if we could send the whole list!

Radical Ideas summary coming soon. How soon? Well, let's just say we're not looking for beta testers yet, but thanks to Yin's endless supply of rope, it'll be in "on time..."
List once again updated since Raingoon has posted the Radical Ideas. Be sure to read them, they're definitely radical!

Well, I just got a new machine, and when I went to recover all the files from my old machine, I discovered that the CD I backed everything up on is a coaster! That includes the work I had done on the SE/G summary. That's the least of my problems, though, since it also contained about 3 weeks of code and other files that I need to resurrect by, oh, Wednesday. So, I'm not going to be able to do the summary any time in the near future. Sorry folks . . . I really am, but there's this whole job/employment thing that I have to take care of first . . . I know, I know, where's my priorities. But anyways, somebody else is going to have to do it . . .
Sorry...

Oh dear... First off, my apologies for Smilo. He asked me to do the summary and I, foolishly, said:
"Sure! I would LOVE too! It's only the third thread I am making!"
Sigh... Lot's of happened. My comp is crushing back and forth. I need to format it, but I am getting a new comp this week so I don't bother. Last week my CO was replaced, and you can imagine how much nonsense I had to deal with...
And now for Bell comment. This really depress me, because I think the SE thread got the most attention in the last few months, and it's probaly the most improved-upon thread since the first list. We all the model suggested ( five complete one, I think... me, maniac, theben... the joker... and someone else too ). That's a huge job, and no one would dare come close to it. No, don't look at me. I summarize fast, but not THAT fast. The SE thread would mean taking another week off, and I am not going to spend my next leave like this.
Maniac, I invite you to take the towel. Instead of critizing Bell ( who deserve a lot of credit just for trying to do that summary: think, it's 250 HUGE posts, try to do it yourself. You know what's going there just as well as me...

Technocrat is the fifth.
And Bell had said a few times, I think, that he had some problems with his job, so of course I had my doubts about if the summary would get completed. Certainly because he already begun around 25 september.
And actually, two weeks ago, I was thinking about doing the SE summary, but then Bell said again he would do it. Now it's a little late to start it. I won't even have time to summarize my own contributions. Or at least not before List v2.0.
Well, my job is going to demand a few overnighters from me next week, which means I won't be able to send the list until the end of October. THAT, however, will be the deadline no matter what, so if that gives you enough time, we'd all be very thankful.
