Yin, Here is something else that I think everyone needs to consider.
There are so many ideas floating around, but no body is considering the effects on micro-management that most of these ideas entail.
Just an example: Someone suggested that we need Settlers/Engineers in the Civ sense which can improve tiles only inside the city radius, but to improve tiles outside the city we would use a public works system. While I think this is a good idea, I can see it becoming a micro-headache. There are hundreds of examples of this in our threads. One of Sid's (If he actually has anything to do with this game) biggest achievements has been to try to eliminate as much micro-management as possible and keep the game flowing in the true JOMT tradition.
Do we need a thread for this or should we leave these decisions up to BR etc. after they see what our ideas are?
