  • Stack commands?

I recently "discovered" the "J" stack move command!! GREAT!! It wasn't in the Civilpedia! So maybe there are other STACK commands that are out there that are also not in the Civilpedia?

I would love commands that let me wait, fortify, skip move for a whole stack. I currently have three artillery parks of about 40+ each and it takes forever to refortify or just skip them unitil I find out how another battle concludes.

If you want to skip your entire move you can do it with the ctrl-alt-delete command. Sometimes you have to press it twice to get it to work.

You can end your turn by clicking on the yellow ellips on the corner of your status screen (just beside where it says 'click spacebar or enter to finish your turn'). No need for Ctrl+Alt+Del

While there are no other stack commands (yet), there are tricks you can use. If you want to let some artillery wait, and use other units first, just click the other units. As art. are normally the first units to move, you skip all artillery, and instead continue the queue of offensive units. (assuming you clicked a tank).

The opposite is also true: after you used a tank, you can go back to the artillery by clicking one of your stack. However, do not click the top in in the list, as it is the last. Instead, right click, and click the bottom one. This will put the pointer to that unit, and after you used it you'll get the second one, etc.

It also works with different stacks (for instance with bombers in a city nearby), but that is a bit more complicated. You should experiment a little to see how it works.

I myself just learned that command a few weeks ago. It's amazing how much you can learn here.

Thanks for the response, but I was really hoping for better news.

I didn't notice any suggestions for this type of commands in the new expansion ether! :-(
