  • 3 turn science

Simple question: How to you advance in 3 turns. I've seen it done before. I currently have 80 cities, 50 of which are 20+, and 12 or so at 30+. Soon, I estimate I will have about 40 cities at 30+ and a few at 40+. I'm in the modern age. about to get computers advance. Universities everywhere. Making as many science specialists as possible whenever I get the chance.

    Suggestions?

Don't think it's possible, there is a cap on research which stopps you getting them in under 4 turns (which I hate and justy undervalues science).

The default minimum research time is 4 turns. You can change it in the editor (I think? omigod, I'm not sure!).

If other civs already have learned the advance, it may actually take you less than 4 turns total (e.g., after one turn, it might be 2 turns to research instead of 3). Doesn't apply to Modern Age, but you must be in contact with the other civs for this to apply to you -- explains why research goes faster after you have discovered everybody.

Yes you can. It's on the General Settings page I believe. You can also adjust the maximum turns as well.
