Are the AI Civs annoyed when you click the “forget it” option? Particularly in the early part of the game when the AI is ahead of me on research, I want to check each Civ to see if they have a new discovery that I can buy cheap and sell at a profit. So, if I check but see nothing to buy (or sell), am I creating ill-will when I click out without any conversation?
In a somewhat similar vein, will negotiating down to the last piece of gold create ill-will, and if so should I lighten up a bit?
I haven’t figured anyway to measure the above and I don’t know just how sophisticated the AI might be. But some of the Civs become annoyed with me for no other reason I can see.
