Lo all,

having difficulty getting any peace/alliance options to be available.
All I seem to ever get is rights of passage ( which the silly a.i. always refuses) on the list , yet the Ai is continuosly making alliances with 2 or 3 nations declaring war on me.

How do i get to have the more advanced options available ....
I have definitely been at peace with some of the countries and have had no more options available.

you need an embassy and the technology of (i think nationalism, not sure).
than you can make a mutual protection pact

btw the ai must be paid for right of passage or pact... your councelor tells if what you want to pay is enough...

In order to ally against another civ, writing (and opening an embassy) should suffice (AFAIK).
