Recon Missions

I used one of my F-15s to do a recon mission just to test out the feature. Several turns later, the spot where I conducted the recon mission, previously covered by the fog of war, is still lighted up.

how long do these things last? or is this another bug

It's a bug. It will revert to normal when another unit passes it.
