A worker
upon his land
tilling sand
irrigating
as does the King Demand
Raise his wages
takes but ages
50% needed, say the Sages
hold on fast-
you took the last
Science and Progress will never pass
Passing Turns
Soldier Yearns
Glory be
Death at Sea
Galleons fade
Ironclads raid
Cities burning
Stormy seas churning
in the wake
none awake.
