This forum better not die. It almost did around X-Mas time last year. Anyway, the last story contest was July 30th. It seems it has been shut down. Well if no one else will I'll run it. If no one else volunteers, then I'll start the thread. The problem is I am so busy with school, cross country, and my two instruments that usually the only time I can post is on weekends.

I volunteer to do story contest
"The first man who, having fenced off a plot of land, thought of saying, 'This is mine' and found people simple enough to believe him was the real founder of civil society. How many crimes, wars, murders, how many miseries and horrors might the human race had been spared by the one who, upon pulling up the stakes or filling in the ditch, had shouted to his fellow men: 'Beware of listening to this imposter; you are lost if you forget the fruits of the earth belong to all and that the earth belongs to no one." - Jean-Jacques RousseauTags: None

You have my support but we could do with civman to make his posistion clear.I think he did request help a while back but noone offered.A proud member of the "Apolyton Story Writers Guild".There are many great stories at the Civ 3 stories forum, do yourself a favour and visit the forum. Lose yourself in one of many epic tales and be inspired to write yourself, as I was.

I play a YAS-52 Alto Saxophone. It's a great intrument. I got it used but in good condition for $750, when they retail for 3500. I also play the piano, which is a grand piano that's in great condition that was a gift to us from my grandfather. I'm pretty good at saxophone, and pretty good at piano also. I don't know really how good to say I am, but I went to a music festival in Spokane, WA and played Mozart's Rondo All Turca. I received a 94. I assume you play the gee-tar."The first man who, having fenced off a plot of land, thought of saying, 'This is mine' and found people simple enough to believe him was the real founder of civil society.
