  • Greatest Story of the Forum Poll-Final Tiebreaker

Oops. Sorry for taking forever. Since school started, I have had absolutely no time and I didn't check the polls.

    The poll is expired.

"The first man who, having fenced off a plot of land, thought of saying, 'This is mine' and found people simple enough to believe him was the real founder of civil society. How many crimes, wars, murders, how many miseries and horrors might the human race had been spared by the one who, upon pulling up the stakes or filling in the ditch, had shouted to his fellow men: 'Beware of listening to this imposter; you are lost if you forget the fruits of the earth belong to all and that the earth belongs to no one." - Jean-Jacques Rousseau

I shall abstain from this retarded poll as well.

    Polls are retarded.
First Master, Banan-Abbot of the Nana-stary, and Arch-Nan of the Order of the Sacred Banana.
Marathon, the reason my friends and I have been playing the same hotseat game since 2006...

Metaliturtle, you seem to have not minded the Story Contest Polls, and that's basically what this is, but on a larger scale. I still don't understand what's wrong with it. And earlier, in the finals poll you said none of these stories are good. I totally disagree. The ones that were in the finals were The Cost of War, Generations, Eyes of the Innoncent, and ETN. Don't tell me those are not good stories. They all were loved by the people of this forum. I think it is kind of dumb though that the Chronicles of Inhoptep didn't make it to the finals. I love that one.

Metaliturtle is just upset that he's not on there. I say bravo for the polls...and yeah, where is The Chronicles of Imhotep, which is bar none the greatest piece of Civ3 fiction, followed by Knights of the Black Cross?!
        Empire growing,
        Pleasures flowing,
Fortune smiles and so should you.
