It kind of fell in between contests. There was a period of about 2 months in January/February when nothing was happening on the forum.
Then Civman took over and by the time he started the contest i guess everybody had already read the story and didn't bother voting for it in the preliminaries. Or they just plain didn't like it.

Thanks! I mostly lurk in the OT section but i don't really feel the need to post that often there. As for writing other stories, i started two others after this one but never got around to finishing them.

I do think that i have a good plot for another one, but i have a new job now and much less time to work on stories. I have to say i hadn't read this story in some time. It's nice to see it come back from the depths of the forum. Who knows, maybe it will motivate me to start another one.
