Yes, well embellished for the simplest of gameplay decisions, as all good fanfiction.

But the more pressing question: Does Velocyrix of SMAC Strat Guide fame deign Civ III a worthy heir apparent to the legacy?

Hey guys! And my apologies for the delay in getting back to this section....with the weekend fast approaching and company coming into town, I wanted to get my strat. posting in....

Anyway, I will be picking up this tale next week after a lovely weekend retreat, and I'll see if I can go back to autosaves and grab some screenies for ya!

Ahhh, and as to the last question....the short answer is absolutely YES! I've been *loving* exploring the game so far. It's true, there are some things I wish were different and some things that are clearly broken....ohhh how it reminds me of SMAC in the early days in that regard tho! And, like SMAC, I slogged through it endlessly, putting up with bugs and all! What can I say, I'm an addict....

            Nice story, Vel!

I liked the part about the "Ogress"...

Being a fan of your SMAC guide, I wonder when you'll start to write a comprehensive Civ3 strat guide... But I guess we'll have to wait till the first patches and... maybe... the expansion pack.
I watched you fall. I think I pushed.
