Alexander, Caesar, Joan, Catherine, Shaka, and Abe are sitting around a campfire:
Alexander: Well gang it was a good run here wasn't it?
Caesar: I still can't believe it.
Abe: Believe what?
Caesar: I still can't believe that Crazed Greek Wanderings won the story contest.
Alexander: Only because all of Metaliturtle's friends voted for him.
Caesar: Still, most of those guys didn't read it.
Alexander: Well he never collected his prize so it's no big deal.
All: True
Shaka: I'm ticked off too
Alexander: Why is that?
Shaka: CIV really needs a Zulu nation from southern africa.
Caesar: Come on, nobody liked the Zulu at all, they always got slaughtered, such a weak UU...
Shaka: Whatever! Like a Legion is really cool when your foe has machine guns!
Caesar: Well, at least Mansa Musa doesn't wear ridiculous outfits that don't suit him in the least!
Shaka: If you're gonna talk about outfits, what about ol' baldy over there?
Caesar [chuckling]: Yeah, Joan, why did you even try to hide it? You were such an ugly woman.
Joan: That's not what you said last night
...and Catherine stared into the fire, not willing to say anything, after all she got like 3000% more hottness in CIV, she would miss Shaka, Joan, and Abe, but that's life, she now had a following.
With that, Metaliturtle retired his Civ III storytelling days for good, too upset to see the little lightbulb in a perpetual 'off' position, he decided to take the Civ3 stories forum off his main page threads.
