They would have to have permission from each of the authors... too many copyright issues otherwise I'd agree with you.

I don't think it would be a problem. I mean, seriously, I don't know if anyone would ever want to use any of my stories, but if someone asked me if I wanted to have one or two published, I'd be like:

After all, we do all this for fun, mostly, and to combine fun and a nice achievement like that is quite nice.
