And, by the way, Unrelated Matters is not my story contest Rainmaker. Its only for fun, I believe that a well written humor piece has a good chance here, but I would rather be remembered for something more serious.

SKILORD looked about him, the deserted wasteland disgusts him and he is afraid.

The Empire lays crumbled here, and he is afraid, he yet haunts the ruins, but he is almost alone.

Where next? he asks, the wind offers no reply but the arrogant dust that beats against the once proud forum.

Cracked walkways, hollow homes, and the ghosts.

And we remain, among the ghosts, asking them, 'Where next?'
