RE: Fatherland. Yeah, they did. I think it was an HBO type thing. It was okay. It wasn't the kind of story that translated very well to screen I think.

The train ride home was largely uneventful as both Gimpel and Dorsh were trapped in their own thoughts of work. When the hopped off at their station their short bus ride into their Berlin suburb went quickly. After parting the two men continued onto their seperate ways.

However coming home wqas always a dream for Heinrich Gimpel. As he opened the front door, his three daughters, the eldest Alicia, 10 mobbed him and started tellign him about their day. 'One at a time' he cried out and started listening to their stories.

The smells from the kitchen were enticing and his wife, Helen was busy cooking up a storm, for the guests they were receiving. Gimpel turned towards his daughter after giving his wife a quick peck on the cheek, 'So your staying up tonight with the adults to speak', Alicia nodded hardly keeping her excitement in check.
