  • Infogrames CEO

Hi all impatient civers. Just a word to say that this very last week one of the French TV channels received guess who? The CEO of Infogrames Bruno Bonnel himself received and speaking as an expert in management. He never said anything about his conception of international merchandising, he never mentioned the way he deals with that type of problem we met, how it comes that an European company developing an application with the help of a US based society, is unable to inform the future European customers about what is going on...

Are you sure you're not talking about Activision?
Skeptics should forego any thought of convincing the unconvinced that we hold the torch of truth illuminating the darkness. A more modest, realistic, and achievable goal is to encourage the idea that one may be mistaken. Doubt is humbling and constructive; it leads to rational thought in weighing alternatives and fully reexamining options, and it opens unlimited vistas.

      I see you're French!

This is the first time i've seen a poster from France here. We've got plenty of Americans and some prominent Australians (wait till you meet AH ), Britons, a few Dutch, Germans, some Italians etc..

Welcome to the site, so how did you end up at Apolyton?

        Some Frenchies sometimes...

Yes I'm French, and obstinate enthousiastic Civer almost from the very beginning. I landed in Apolyton long time ago (I can't remember when exactly) surfing for Civ sites. Apolyton is I think the very best (Yes yes!)and is one of my permanent bookmarks. I joined this forum because I am impatient to see Civ III landing here before I'll die as I'm not so young. I think the BTC is one of the opportunities we have to tell to Infogrames that the European gamers are furious considering the provisional needed delay. I have some friends either in USA or in Canada and I could ask them to buy and ship the game but I think this way is unfair for other gamers who haven't this opportunity. Idon't want to fix my own problem and to forget that we games buyers are an economical force which shouldn't be ignored. Ain't we consumers? According to the popular say : "The consumer is a king" we just want the company living on our decision to buy or not to buy (like ol' Shakespear made Hamlet to say)to know that they cant keep on ignoring the European consumers.

I think he was wise not to mention his companies debacle.

I suppose they should have kicked him into a pulp.
