Aussie release date 16/11

That's what my local game store says. They changed it pretty recently, after it was announced that the game would be released on 30/10, so that date probably comes from the supplier.

Anyone know if I get it from Amazon.uk ( 29th apparently ) when I can get it delivered by? Cause it's gonna be in Game on the 17th they say ( I'm assuming if Amazon.uk DO get it on the 29th they can deliver a few round the country reasonably soon....... )

Belgian release

Hey,

I asked around in a few stores in Belgium and about half of them say they'll have it on November 25th, the other half says they'll have it in store on November 16th.

Anyhow, the same dates reappear everywhere so I guess the differences are only a matter of how 'up to date' the information they received or used from their distributors is.

Since Firaxis insists on their site that the UK will have it on Oct. 30th it would be next to impossible that the European mainland would only get it about a month later, how are they shipping it then? By trireme?

LOL ! My guess is that the time of release changes are due to Infogrames having set different timeframes to each area, and negotiating those timeframes with the local distributors.
BTW, Civ3 will be available in Poland on the 3rd of December ....

PS. But then again, it will only cost the equivalent of 25 US$ .
