The Daily Blueprint: Special Edition
Legomen Take to the Voting Booths!
Legopolis, 1050 BC: As a service to our readers, The Daily Blueprint is publishing this Special Edition to cover the recent elections in Legoland. As per our land's constitution, Term 3 elections were recently held in our glorious democracy.
President Vondrack remains in office, running unopposed and with poll numbers in the triple digits. The ministerial offices, however, went through some major changes. In the office of the Foreign Ministry, Nimitz has taken control, promising "greater cooperation between us and the round-headed savages." A new Enlightened has taken the lead of our land's knowledge, Tiberius. Tiberius replaces the former Enlightened One, Spiffor, who accidentally transcended himself into pure energy and was blown out to sea. The Daily Blueprint wishes Spiffor luck in his new existance.
In the election for a new Master Builder, Kloreep has edged out the competition and moved into his new office on Saturday. In the most contested election, Sharpe and ZargonX tied for the office of Military Architect, bringing about several constitutional questions. In the Legoland spirit of cooperation and democracy that we are so known for, a compromise was reached, with Sharpe serving as MA, and ZargonX as deputy for the beginning of the term, with the roles to switch at mid-term. The two divisions of Numidian Mercs both men had brought to the capital to "settle" the dispute were peacefully sent back to their positions elsewhere.
This concludes The Daily Blueprint's special election coverage, and we welcome our new Ministers and are positive they will lead us to our glorious future.
