Ok change of subject here for sec
Just downloaded the new "Lite" ICQ as an alternative to PM's so that no 'poly rules are broken or bent. I've had it before, but hated it earlier, and now am giving it another shot. So far so good, eh?
What I would really love to see happen would be if somehow all the Foreign Ministers of the teams would decide on an instant messaging program that we all can use to communicate privately, or semi-privately, depending on your choices. Instant messages, chats, you name it they've got it.
May I suggest all the foreign ministers download ICQ? There is a "lite" version which I am running that is only 1.7 megs, and connection speed does not matter. It's instant, it's usable, it's user-friendly.
I think it will make foreign affairs that much easier to run. You can even save the .log file so you can show your teammates what was spoken if you want.
Chats are interesting too. You can have as many people as you want in one chat. Imagine a meeting between 3 or 4 ambassadors, all of them hammering out issues like borders and wars, trades, agreements, alliances, etc. Think of the possibilities!
Okay I know some of you out there already have it and I'm sorry if I'm wasting your time with this by telling you what you already know, but I'm just hoping somehow we can find a way to make ambassador communications easier and more fluid, like real life...
What do the rest of the teams here think? yay or nay or Meshelic you're a moron? any input would be really nice...thank you.
