Re-thinking pbem

i think we should consider another type of game. The patch made turnbased alot better. We could save and reload the game be alot faster , just give it some consideration.

I imagine we will do a combination, with PBEM going on throughout the week, and turnchats scheduled at convenient times.

is that even possible? people in the PTW forum say its not possible to swtich between PBEM and Turn-Based

Actually I think the turnchats are going to be PBEM based where we just send the sav to the next team in rapid succession. I assume that each team will have a group of players at some chat site to discuss what is going on and such....

You cannot switch between game types from what I know.

what i meant was scrath the whole idea of pbem and play like ten turns with turnbased multiplayer save the game then load the same game up next week.

Why do that? turnbased game and playing pbem in a turnchat is exactly the same thing.

Many people have problems with normal MP.

Check out my "an idea: Simultaenous turnchat" forum (too lazy to link :P ) It may be possible we may start a simultaneous game and convert to PBEM. Might work as great accelerated start, but there are some problems. (Check the forum)
