Thank you, Spiffor; you withdraw most of my interest in this debate, I was really upset by this word !

Anyway, I still suspect those antagonistic Americans to use it in the highest possible intensity!

Hallo,

I'd like to ask you something, that has nothing to do with our game.

Could you please tell me some web sites where I can practice my german? I'm learning Deutsch now and I'd like to read more (learning about Präteritum, Konjunktiv II or other gramatical rules helps only until a point ). It should be in easy german (or at least a not very difficult one) and with interesting articles. I was thinking to some newspapers, magazines, something similar. To give you an idea, one magazine that I liked in Germany was the Focus (although it was a bit too difficult for me). I'm interested in politics, economy, science, science-fiction, global issues, civ3 und so weiter.

there are very interesting news about politics, science, culture, space even about games sometimes and much more... the german is not easy, sorry! but they also have an english section and often you can read news in the english and in the german version ...

www.focus.de is focus but i dont read there

I'm not saying it's harder than french! I don't know french, only a few words. (but any language with latin roots is easier for me, because I speak fluently romanian). I'm hungarian, btw.
I don't find the german so difficult. I'm learning the grammar rules quite easily, actually. My problem is the vocabulary! This is why I want to read more.

Hmm, I've checked the Spiegel Online and I found an article about Xmas presents, "Geschenktipps für PC- und Videospieler".

They are recomanding for "Kaufleute, Diplomaten, Denker und Taktiker" Anno 1503 while for "die ganze Familie" FIFA Football 2003 and Sim City 4.

Somebody should have told them about PtW
