Blast it all, Pikesfan, where did you get those?!

I went into Microsoft Word and used Symbol to put the alphabets in a Word document. Then I just cut and pasted. You have to use one of the more universal fonts, such as Arial or Times New Roman. Of course, you have to have installed the various options for other alphabets in Windows. I can’t quite remember how I did it now. I think you have to go to Add/Remove Programs and install Multi-language Support.

I have no idea how it would work with a Macintosh.

You are very democratic. Commendable. Slow, but commendable.

Except the last (bolded) four, yes. The last four letters are from another slavic language, perhaps Ukrainian. You are using Unicode, which is another clever method do portably display foreign characters.

Berlin is fascinating, but is one giant building site (still beats the hell out of London though - but what doesn't?)
That is still Heidelberg. Civ3 lies. Köln is barely ok, Munich gorgeous and Berlin sucks. Our train service too. Some tips from a native .

We are realy democratic but we need to loose some of that democratic behaviour in order to move a little more effectiv. But i guess we will get that organized. At least we are known for beeing organized... though were i am there is chaos most sadly i just can't be everywhere

Up for some more Umlaute: "Wir werden euch öfter übermäßig damit belästigen...)" which means We will molest you more often excidingly with it.... just joking.

Well, I can bring you even better stuff:

                      An example of Swiss-German:

Wahrschienlech verschtoht do fasch niemer, was i do grad gschrebe ha.

A few umlauts, hmmm .... Währungshüter, übernächst, grösstmöglich, überdrüssig, Würdenträger, ...

sure, we have learned in the last 50 years to be democratic thanks

Hey, at least I didn't spell Koln as 'Cologne'. Although I didn't use the character code thingy in Koln, but that's just cause I'm lazy.

Berlin is a bit sucky, but that's part of what makes it interesting.

If you think your trains suck then I advise you never to travel by train in the UK. I think having to use our train system should be declared as a crime against humanity.

3 Ukrainian (which reminds me I forgot ґ ), the last Belorussian. I have the whole Unicode set on my work computer, so theoretically I could put Chinese characters and Korean syllables and Hindi letters up too. Want me to try it But since I’m in the Spanish team, I only have to worry about ñ though I think ŀl is a letter in Catalan. Not that this has any use for the game, unless I pretend to be Catherine and say Хотите ли обменять, а только любоваться моей красотой?

I love foreign characters, almost as much as I love squid Wouldn’t that be a great enhancement for Civ4, that the leaders speak in their own languages?

Ahh I remember living in Munich, it is certainly a beautiful city. Berlin....I saw the East Germans marching with the Soviets in a military parade long long ago...in 1989 I think it was. Very large, very cool city. Lots of history there.

Germany is probably the coolest country on the planet, or at least TOP 5. in my opinion. Living there for six years convinced me of that. I must go back, hopefully soon...
