    Wow russian letters !

I see umlauts, maybe our ASCII-codes are different but this would be a strange thing.

ASCII covers only the characters 0-127. What you are talking about are codepage extensions, which cover the characters 128-255. There are many different of these pages. You are using Latin-1, or ISO-8859-1. But this is an international board, and many posters use other codepages, like Cyrillic or Hebrew or others. For these posters your umlauts are visible in the way I made the screenshot. Here you can not assume, that all readers use your national language set, like you can on civ3.de. Better use the HTML codes I posted above.

Oh of course. I used extended ASCII-Code, it's too bad.

But, my question had been left unanswered.
Where can I find the colors of the teams ?

I didn't find a thread for it, so I can only answer on behalf of my team Gathering Storm. We are claiming the "German" blue.

                Ok, thank you all.
We will respect your choice. And we will probably announce our Demogyptican color tomorrow.

I found the thread by my self. (Our German forum is a little bit more organized ).

                Lego Team - Greek green.

I thought Lux Invicta wanted dark red too, but they might go for Roman Red

Roman Red is currently leading for now..... Still if we both choose Japanese Red. We may have a problem.

and BTW, it's off topic but what are few things I should know about Germany when I will be visiting there for the next World Cup game? Any tips by the natives themselves?
                    :-p

Heidelburg is beautiful. Koln is not.
Munich is expensive, but has excellent city parks.
Berlin is fascinating, but is one giant building site (still beats the hell out of London though - but what doesn't?)

oh, and don't try and ride the trams in Heidelburg without a ticket, they check frequently and the fine is €25. Trying to avoid the fine by crying and looking cute doesn't work either - my girlfriend tried.

Great country, great train service (well, compared to the UK, but that isn't saying much).
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

It's difficult to say what you should know, because I never been to the USA. So I can't say whats different.
But first be aware of a culture shock . Our food is not as sweet as yours, our coke tastes totaly different from yours. And when your are here, you should drink the good german beer (Bier).

Many (younger) people here are speaking english, so you won't have any problems with communication. It's not like you go to New York and try to speak german.

Then you will be amazed by our transportation system. I know some americans that were.

Go to East Germany, Leipzig is one of the World Cup cities, there are so many old buildings. Especially Dresden is an wonderful city. In 2006 there will be a great Stadtfest (party) there. The great Frauenkirche,( a church), will be build up again (it was bomed by the british in Feb 1945 ). So go there and you will know much more about history.

You Germans will never a good transportation system when compared to the French

(Seriously, French trains are much more on schedule, and much faster than German trains, while the fares are cheaper. It's actually very surprising to see the Frogs do something better than the Krauts, but they do )

I recommand you to avoid Stuttgart. It's a comfortable city to live in, but it's ugly, and the interests for tourists are minimal : a big museum, some smaller museums, and almost no building older than 50 years.
