      @ nagash most certainly he means über but try to use an ü when there is none on your keyboard. It's the same with ä,ö and ß ........

        Sorry, ü isn't very accessable on most American keyboards, so we got lazy and just used u instead.

          you can also write "ue" for "ü", so many germans will understand you...

            True, but ueber just isn't as much fun as uber or über.

            On a more significant note, are you guys almost ready? The game starts in just a few days, and contacting Markos about getting a forum, etc. would probably be a good idea.

                  as a representivite of america i say you change all your crazy umlauts (is that the word?) to something i can write easily on my keyboard, or teach me the command.

                  ueber? meh.

                  maybe you guys can help me on this one:

                  does KruX mean something in German? cause, i'm just refrencing the english word "crux", but whenever some german dudes see it (like, when i play Counter-Strike on a german server) they all start spouting german at me.

                  i tried to look it up one day and i think i got something with the crucifix. any ideas?

                  oh, and, you're going to die in this game. make no mistake about that

                  OH and another thing.

                  could you name your cities really awesome names? i love the way germans can merge like 14 words into one 47 letter word. so awesome.

                  well, thats it.

                      We announce the downfall
                      of the riders of evil
                      Feed his ulcer of envy

                      The truth is like a thunderstorm
                      It comes to you, you can hear it
                      To proclaim it is so bitter
                      It comes to you in order to destroy

                      Because the night lay dying
                      We announce Doomsday
                      There will be no mercy
                      Run, Run for your lives

                      The truth is a chorus of wind
                      No angel comes to avenge you
                      These days are your last
                      It will break you like little sticks

                        If you are interested in writing Umlaute, here is the code (it's just html, I don't know ASCI or so), it's easy if you know how to do it:
                        ä is &.auml; (remove . between & and a)
                        you just have to learn & and ;, the a is easy because you want ä, and the uml is short for Umlaute. So the other codes are:
                        Ä &.Auml;
                        ö &o.uml;
                        Ö &O.uml;
                        ü &u.uml;
                        Ü &U.uml;

                        the last one, ß, is a bit strange. The code is &.szlig; but I don't know what the lig could mean. But the sz is clear, because the ß is called sz.

                        And before you ask: Yes, I was bored, I had something to do while I waited for dinner.

                        i love the way germans can merge like 14 words into one 47 letter word. so awesome.

                            "lig" is an abbreviation of "ligature", which means 2 letters "gluing" together. There are other ligatures, like æ (æ) or œ (œ).

                              I don't know about German, but 'Krux' is the Latin word for 'cross'.

                                crucifix is the cross with jesus, some very funny guys uses it as a swearword. but if crux is a short cut of crucifix dont ask me, but maybe...
