Check the rule outline thread at the top... all of the game info is in the first post.

The only civs taken at the moment, with my current knowledge (the teams besides my own sure aren't making it very prevalent information to everyone ) are the Ottomans and the Carthaginians. Each team simply picks a team, and if two teams pick the same, they decide randomly/rock-paper-scissors/diplomatically resolve the issue/whatever else. Depends on the civs and what they want... I don't think there's anything official as to how to deal with the situation.

Any more questions, feel free to ask. Just get yourselves a forum and ready for December 1st.

Also, the Roleplayers have taken Spain. The warmongers speak much about the Celts, but I don't know if their choice has been confirmed yet.

Well they cant keep it a secret since the choice may conflict... They might publicly claim a civ and change it to an unclaimed civ, but I think GoW is seriously going for the Celts. Besides if more than one team does this, they may actually end up with the saem civ at the last minute. This will cause confusion. So please teams should not attempt to veil their real team choice if possible. We don't want to end up arguing who gets which team at the last minute!

There's already a price to be paid for any team (such as Glory of War) that hides their "official" civchoice until the last minute. Whether they pick the Celts or the Chinese (or any phantom choice they've done a good job of hiding), if they end up with the same choice as another team, they'll have to rock-paper-scissors for it.

              If they lose, tough luck.

However, I would agree with Calc II that if we want to START THE GAME on December 1st, we need to have civs FINALIZED by then. As such, all teams should be required to finalize their civ choice on some date BEFORE Dec. 1st so that any conflicts can be resolved by rock-paper-scissors.

Is the entire Vox team going to decide in this thread what civ they're gonna be?
