Bob? Huh? What in the world are you guys thinking?!?!?! What would we call ourselves?

    Boblings? No... to stupid.
    Bobicans? Please...
    The best choice would be:
Bobbits.... Anyone remember a guy named John Wayne Bobbit? Anyone here remember what happened to him?

    I don't think I like that idea...

    Vote Apolyton! Its our Name-sake!
Founder of The Glory of War, CHAMPIONS OF APOLYTON!!!
    '92 & '96 Perot, '00 & '04 Bush, '08 & '12 Obama, '16 Clinton, '20 Biden, '24 Harris

Wasn't my choice either btw. Not that important either

It may not be the most glamorous name, but I think the beauty of Bob lies mostly in it being so 'out of nowhere' and full of questions....everyone who joins is now going to be asking 'who's this bob everyone's talking about?'.

Isn't there another option missing here? As in, the civ who is dominate around 1AD names the world??? After all, isn't it the conquerers who write history?

I realize its a little late, but as our glorious ancestors named the planet after what they walked on (earth) perhaps we should've named the planet "Clod" instead of Bob.

You're only halfway to the truth of the issue with that statement... establishing a common name requires a large degree of voluntary self-enforcement... By conducting polling for a common name and thus utilizing people's conditioned respect for the legitimacy of democratic results, a lot of people are willing to call the planet Bob or whatever else decided upon, even though they wouldn't otherwise do so

Afterall, the name of the planet doesn't require the same unanimity required for selecting the mapsize or difficulty level...

                      Interesting, eh?

Who thought of Bob? Well it doesn't matter.

16 people, 40% of all who voted in the poll decreed what to name our planet. Whether you like it or not, those 40% are right. Majority's a B***H eh?

Bob...hmm...until my team wins *ahem* the planet will be named Bob...afterwards, it will most likely be called Luxor or Trippanna or Luxia....

In otherwords, this is a silly poll, and not worth my remaining handfull of brain cells? Eh, Arnelos?
