Official Poll: Surplus Teams

Okay, we seem to have more teams than we're allowed to have per the vote already taken.

Soooo... this poll is designed to help rectify that problem. It may be a bit confusing at first, so make sure you read everything carefully first.

Whichever group option has the most votes wins. Whichever individual option with the highest number of votes within the winning group is the official choice.

Well, an impromptu fix had to be made, since there were already 6 teams forming before the vote on how many would be allowed had begun.

Yes, well written poll, Trip. I still object to the term "official" for anything yet though.

Group A only has three options compared to four for group B. Not that it matters. I think group A will win hands down.

Don't worry, it won't be as complicated as the Civ 3 one is.
Basic government structure is something for the teams to take care of internally. Just check out the thread, it's not so bad.

Don't disband any teams

I'd like to see the Builders' Team make it and for us to have 5 teams... that's workable and would allow for a bit more diversity (and to have 1 warmonger team and 1 builder team in among the 5 teams we have...). The more things we test before the multi-site game, the better.

Teams in excess of 4 can duel with one of the 4, or against each other, or... there could be 2 games of 4, or... where is the limit?

The minimum of 5 players is a good one though. Can't expect Mark to cater to the needs of every pair of people with a cause.

We should allow for maximum participation and not be forced to choose between banishing extra people from the game or making teams too big to be managable.

Well the builders team has 5 people in it so far, and more are joining ever day. So dont leave us out of the game! I would think builders team would be one of the main teams.

Pending a miracle turnaround in the next 25 hours, it appears as though the Builder's Team (and any other team that can muster 5 members) will be in the game.
